A Staffordshire saltglaze model of a hawk
Circa 1755
Perched on a rockwork base with wings folded and looking straight ahead, with incised plumage, the eyes, beak and base enriched in brown, the edges of the eyes in blue (hairline cracks to both wings, two minute footrim chips)
