Painted in grand feu colours with rococo wave-scroll and foliage cartouches on trellis grounds with rosettes at the interstices, the neck and footrim each with six flower-sprays (extensive rim chips to neck, foot and cover, neck and foot ground, minor chips to finial), both pieces with three crescents in manganese, the cover with L and the vase with E
