A Pair of Berlin octagonal baluster vases and covers
Circa 1720, Funcke's factory
Painted with Orientals taking tea and at discussion before a pagoda and fences among flowering plants between bands of lappets and panels of flowering plants, the stepped feet with a band of fruit among scrolls and with lappets alternating with stiff leaves, the octagonal covers with stylised foliage and octagonal finials (one with footrim chips, one cover with partially repaired rim chip, minor chips and glaze flaking to rims)
