Painted in manganese and green with Mezzetin(?) before a town and flanked by trees, the pewter cover incised with billing doves perched on a heart among foliage above a name and the date 1793 (section of rim including head of Mezzetin broken, three cracks to rim, glaze flaking to handle), blue V/G mark
