A Meissen figure of a Bagpiper
Circa 1738
Modelled by J.J. Kändler with long curly hair and moustache, in grey-lined iron-red cloak, gilt-edged yellow jacket, black bow tie, iron-red sash, blue breeches with red rosettes and yellow shoes with red rosettes, holding the bagpipes under his left arm and a black pouch on a belt at his waist, standing on a mound base applied with flowers and foliage (tip of bagpipes lacking, minute chip to one rosette, chips to one flowerhead)
