Painted at Augsburg in the Auffenwerth workshop with Orientals taking tea and cooking among exotic shrubs and grasses within gilt strapwork cartouches edged with purple and iron-red scrolls, the reverse and interior of the teabowl with an elaborate strapwork panel, the borders with interlocking C-scrolls and pendant husks (two minute chips to underside rim of saucer, some minor rubbing to gilding), Dreher's to both pieces
