The centre with a scene of two horsemen in 16th century armour at battle and the border with four scenes of soldiers in 18th century dress, in encampments, laying siege, preparing for battle and relaxing with camp followers within shaped cartouches with gilt-scroll borders on a ground painted with scattered flowers and insects (one rim chip and minute footrim chip, scratching to enamels and wear to gilding), blue crossed swords and star mark, II I in blue to footrim, Pressnummer 19
