Lot Essay

The Hon Albert Hood was the son of the 3rd Viscount Hood. He served in the Rifle Brigade and was the son-in-law of the Governor of Madras. He married Julia Jane Heanby of Upham, Hampshire. Sabathu is a small Himalayan hill-station, 23 miles from Simla.
