Lot Essay

Secundra (Sikandra) is the site of the tomb of the Emperor Akbar who ruled from 1556 until 1605. The photographs show the large and grand gateway (Buland Darwaza) with its white marble minarets and large mosaic wall patterns, and a view inside the gardens including the well.
