Titles are as follows: 'Marble Palace in Fort Agra', 'Tomb of Etmandoo Dowbah. Agra', 'Tomb of Akbar Secundra, near Agra', 'Summun Bonzo in the fort Agra', 'Jain Temple Delhi', 'Tomb in the Emperor Homaioon where Major Hodgson captured the King. Delhi', 'Koobul ul Islam. Arch at Kootub near Delhi', 'Tomb of Sufter Jung. Delhi' and 'The Taj Mahal, with the fountains, Agra'.

It is known that Beato was in India with James Robertson, then Official Photographer to the British Military Forces, and although this series is generally credited to Beato it seems likely that the two photographers worked together.
