The lobed circular moulded top with eight dished circular shallow wells joined by carved flowers, on a revolving base with pierced wave frieze on waved feet

Lot Essay

A very similar lazy Susan was labelled by William Harrison and was sold anonymously, in these Rooms, 21 April 1994, lot 14. Nine William Harrisons are recorded as working in the second quarter of the 19th Century in The Dictionary of English Furniture Makers, Leeds, 1986, p. 405. Another lazy Susan of identical form to the Harrison one was sold anonymously, in these Rooms, 6 April 1995, lot 9.
