The rectangular superstructure with two panelled doors above a cylinder roll-top and moulded sides opening on a fitted interior with sliding gilt-tooled red leather writing-surface, central hinged tilt-top reading-tablet and dished pulling handles with three pigeon-holes flanked by eight drawers above a shaped kneehole and further four drawers on ring-turned tapering and lappeted supports with brass cups and castors, some locks stamped EDMUNSON DUBLIN, minor restorations to the veneer, superstructure locked
