Decorated overall with birds, figures, foliage, insects, and mountainous river landscape scenes, the shaped rectangular top above a stepped cavetto cornice, on a pair of shaped mirror-glazed doors, enclosing four later adjustable shelves, above two candle slides, above a sloping fall-front concealing a brown leather-lined writing surface and a fitted interior of four small drawers, two shelves, four pigeon holes around a central door, and a central well, with two short drawers above two graduated long drawers, on later bracket feet, paper label to the reverse inscribed in biro ALBERTO/23/1/64, restorations to the decoration, later plates
