A LARGE GREEN JADEITE OCTAGONAL CENSER AND COVER
incised qianlong four-character mark
Carved with two lotus-head handles and six smaller Buddhistic lion handles each suspending a loose ring, and supported on four short feet, the exterior decorated with lotus below the detachable collar with confronted stylized scrolling dragons divided by shou-characters, the cover with four similar lion handles, the reticulated sides depicting lotus-heads, surmounted by a large knop finial embellished with the Eight Buddhist emblems, the apple-green stone with pale purple inclusions
