A FINE GREEN JADEITE FLATTENED BALUSTER VASE AND COVER
19th century
The vase carved beside a crane and bamboo supported on rockwork issuing lingzhi, and in relief on one side of the body with a gnarled pine tree, the reverse with a peacock perched in a blossoming prunus tree, applied at the slightly-waisted neck with two lingzhi handles suspending loose rings, the domed cover surmounted by a young qilin, the pale apple-green stone with dark and emerald-green inclusions
