The body of the censer cast as three bulbs narrowing to the legs, below a tall flaring rim surmounted by two vertical posts with mushroom-shaped terminals, an animal-mask loop handle applied on the exterior, three archaistic characters cast inside the rim, the copper inlay still visible beneath the dark patina, some restoration; the five-peaked 'mountain' brush-rest cast in high relief with mounted dignitaries and attendants on one side climbing a steep path towards a hill-top retreat, and on the other side before the entrance to a cave, minor damage
