The rectangular breakfront shelf above the frieze, centred by a projecting bas-relief tablet carved with classical maidens and a man leading a lamb to be sacrificed, flanked to each side by scrolling foliage, the panelled jambs each headed by a husk-draped urn, standing on a foliate-carved tapering fluted tripod pedestal, with verde antico marble ingrounds, on block feet
