The following two life-size studies of a Sumatran bull rhinoceros and a male gorilla and baby were modelled by William Timym on animals at Howletts Zoo, Shottenden, Kent. The rhinoceros was named Torgambo, the adult gorilla, Djdum and his daughter, Juma. Each model was cast in a limited edition of nine by the Morris Singer Foundry, London.
