ATTRIBUTED TO J. BOTTIGLIONI, LAST QUARTER 19TH CENTURY

Although unsigned, the present pair of figures, emblematic of Night and Day, may be attributed to the late 19th century Italian sculptor J. Bottiglioni, since another pair, slightly larger and bearing the artist's signature, are known to exist.
