The Gothic-pierced silvered and engraved dial with pierced brass hands, the elaborate tracery-pierced brass movement frame with six double-screwed pillars, triple chain fusees, quarter chiming on a nest of eight bells mounted at the top between the two turrets, hour strike on gong mounted behind the backplate, all wheels with six crossings, the anchor escapement with ebony-rod pendulum with zinc bob and brass rating nut, the whole frame supported on an oval white marble stepped base
