The silvered dial signed and numbered JOHN HUTTON 9 Lucas Place, Commercial Road, LONDON. No. 215, Roman hour numerals, gold Breguet hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials with black steel hands, Earnshaw escapement (lacking barrel and barrel bridge assembly but the fusee has its chain), cut bimetallic Pennington style balance, blued steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl inscribed U.S.C. & G.L., with a later plain three-tier mahogany box (replacement top lid) and a gimbal ring
