The silvered dial signed and numbered Widenham, London 1160, Roman hour numerals, gold hour and minute hands, recessed subsidiary seconds dial, up-and-down dial, both with blued steel hands, Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with segmental heat compensation weights, bright steel helical balance spring, dovetail detent (repaired), nickel plated brass bowl gimbal and locking arm, plain light mahogany three-tier box with external brass drop handle, within the top lid a finely engraved trade label Richard Widenham of East Street, Red Lion Square, bone rectangular plaque to front of bottom section inscribed 1160
