The silvered dial signed Joseph Manton. Gun Maker & C & C LONDON Inventor & by His Majesty's Patent and within the subsidiary seconds dial (at VI) the cypher R., Roman hour numerals, blued steel hands, Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance, segmental heat compensation weights with steel tangential side screws, blued steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent, mounted in rectangular white metal display case with glazed top, back and side panels and with white metal carrying chain, mounted above a rectangular mirror set in white metal concave sided metal base, with additional glazed top cover and with green velvet lined leather carrying case
