A GILT PAINTED HORN QUARTER REPEATING VERGE POCKETWATCH
Unsigned, late 18th Century
The frosted gilt chased and engraved fusee movement with verge escapement, repeating the quarters on a gong by depressing the pendant, under dust cover inscribed JE Benoit, London, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute divisions, decorative gold hands, the inner case finely chased and engraved, the outer case (damaged) with underpainted horn
