The frosted gilt three-quarter plate movement with free sprung bimetallic balance, spring detent and Earnshaw escapement, diamond endstone with engraved clock, jewelled to the third with screwed chatons, the patent winding system mounted on the backplate shOWing a spring loaded system of wheels permitting the hands to be set by depressing a concealed button in the band, or the mechanism to be wound by depressing a second button, in the normal state the winder is disconnected, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, blued steel spade hands, in engine-turned case, the replaced front cover surmounted by a painted enamel crest on a plaque, the cuvette with engraved presentation stating Made expressly for Mr R.M. Fortunato, dial and movement signed and numbered, case numbered
