Signed Dai Nipponkoku Ecchu Takada, Muroe Yoshibei zo, late 19th Century
Each elaborately carved, the details of their feathers, eyes and the edge of the shell of the minogame inlaid with gilt, each ho-o lifting its wings, the other side of the wing decorated in gilt with kirin in relief, (a tail feather to one missing)
