cover 1901-1916 envelopes and cards, a selection with RMS GRENADIER large datestamp (G&AP 7) on 1901 (9 Dec.) card, an early use: RMS CHEVALIER, the similar datestamp on 1902 registration envelope and as a transit mark on the reverse of 1903 envelope: the rare datestamp "GK & ARDRICHAIG PACKET" without the ships name, on 1916 card: and the rare "G&A PACKET" parcel cancellation (G&AP 12) on two stamps off-paper, also a small study of mail routed through Greenock, and a relevant illustration.
