on piece LL and ML, used together on large piece, both with margins all round and showing signs of plate wear, cancelled and tied by superb strikes of the red Cross, the piece showing red London datestamp of 26 May 1840 and blue "T.P/Charles St.West"; faint trace of toning and ML with trace of small corner crease but in no way detracting from this beautiful piece.
