cover PL, small to very large margins, used together with 1840 1d. plate VI, JB and JC, margins nearly all round, on long entire (slightly refolded) used from Dunfermline to Culross dated 23 March 1841, and readdressed on arrival to Edinburgh, cancelled in black, the entire rated "4" in manuscript and much endorsed to facilitate delivery; light bend crosses 2d. and the entire with some minor faults around perimeter and filing folds, still a fine and rare franking.
