(12) and 1d. reply halves of reply paid cards to H. van Oordt von Lauwenrecht, the Consul-General of the Netherlands in Cape Town, showing the c.d.s. of Francistown (2, one with note from postmaster "There is no telegraph office at Bosoli, it is only a siding for trains crossing purposes"), Gaberones Station, Lobatsi, Mochudi (2, one with note from postmaster "Artesia is a siding with no one on duty"), Molepolole, Palapye Station (2 different cancels) and Ramoutsa plus two from Mahalapye Siding, C.G.H.

Note: H. van Oordt von Lauwenrecht wrote to all postmasters in Southern Africa stating "As I am collecting the posmarks of all post offices in South Africa for my private museum, containing everything connected with postal, telegraphic and telephone communications in Africa you will oblige me very much by returning to me the annexed reply card. When obliterating it please take care that the impression of your datestamp is as clear as possible."
