Note: On Saturday April 11th. Captain Molyneux left Bulawayo with 60 men to establish a fort at Figtree which he had nearly completed when Selous visited it on April 15th. and called it "Fort Molyneux". Molyneux left Figtree on May 8th. to join the column for the Shangani under the command of Colonel Napier, where he served as adjutant.
