Proof 1883-84 page from De la Rue record book of "Existing and proposed Scheme of Colours" with six values 1d. to 1/- with additional 1d. in green for the colour of the ½d. (added at a slightly later date) and annotated "NB It is thought that a ½d. stamp has been supplied, overprinted like the 2½d. and 3d. stamps" and, for the shilling, "This colour cannot be improved upon". A pencil note added in 1864 against the space for the ½d. "M.B. now says there is a ½d. plate 60 set". Fine and attractive
