The rectangular seed pearl exterior on black onyx ground with diamond and black enamel line border, with interior ivory aide memoire and propelling pencil to reveal a mirror with engine-turned dual powder compartments with diamond-set pushpieces and lipstick holder en suite to a black onyx base, with French control and maker's marks, circa 1925, 8.0cm. wide
