A volume of manuscripts in a number of hands of approximately forty-three anonymous Italian songs and arias, scored for voice and bass part, sometimes figured, the arias numbered and several preceded by grotesques drawn in brown ink, one aria dated '1684' and one bearing a partial inscription 'Giuseppe Accia[?iuoli]', late 17th Century, approximately 600 pages, oblong 8vo, (110 x 282mm.), late 17th Century elaborately stamped gilt red morocco with armorial device at centre (worn), (some wearing, the outer edges apparently cropped).
