lithograph printed in olive green, 1893, on wove paper, Wittrock's first state (of two), from the First Edition of about 100 (there was also an edition of 100 in the second state printed in five colours), Adriani's second state (of three) (Adriani appears to be incorrectly indicate that the text is normally in black), published by G. Ondet, Paris, with margins, a signature stamp in the lower margin, the lower right corner re-attached, an unobtrusive crease just to the left of the curve of the bear's back, and a few mainly in the lower margin, a few short repaired tears at the sheet edges, a small rubbed spot at the lower sheet edge, other minor defects
