lithograph printed in colours, 1895, on firm wove paper, fourth (final) state, a fine, fresh impression, with the artist's early orange-red monogram stamp (L. 1338), numbered and inscribed '96.II.E' in red crayon, from the rare edition of 100 without letterpress text, published by Pan, Berlin and Paris, with their blindstamp (L. 2011a) (the regular Pan edition with letterpress text was 1,100, published in Pan Volume I, no. 3), the full sheet as published, with a deckle edge on each side, two soft central horizontal creases, a few soft handling creases at the upper and lower sheet edges, some very pale discolouration in the margins, residual backing at three reverse sheet corners, other small defects, otherwise generally in very good condition
