CIRCLE OF PAULUS VAN VIANEN (1570-CIRCA 1614)

With a cartouche inserted at bottom centre with a coat-of-arms surmounted by a bishop's mitre and crozier, and with the initials 'FCA' at bottom; with later Dutch tax mark at bottom; in a later, textile-covered mount and on a bronze easel; the paper on the reverse inscribed in ink 'Een biddende Petrus door Vianen' and in pencil 'dux 162'.
Minor areas of discolouration to gilding.
