It is by no means easy to differentiate between the bronze statuettes produced around 1600 by the workshops of Girolamo Campagna and Tiziano Aspetti, and it is not impossible that original inventions created by one or the other were shared by different workshops. However, the distinctive facial type and stylishly elaborated coiffure of the present example both support an attribution to the world of Aspetti.
