maker's mark of Paul Crespin, London, 1723, Britannia Standard
Shaped-oblong and on four leaf-capped scroll and pad feet, the two octagonal bottle-holders with leaf-capped scroll handle, the sides pierced and engraved with foliate-scrolls and strapwork, fitted with two silver-mounted glass oil and vinegar-bottles, each with scroll handle and hinged cover, the mounts engraved with diaperwork, shells, scrolls, and a crest, the stand later engraved beneath the base with a crest beneath Viscount's coronet, marked on base, the bottle mounts unmarked
