A large Persian burnished pottery beak-spouted jar
Early 1st millennium B.C.
With small handle, the upper body burnished in crosshatched pattern; another, with ring handle, both with spouts repaired, 9½in. (24cm.) and 5¼in. (13.2cm.) high; a Palestinian pottery jar with round mouth, short vertical spout on the shoulder and twin ledge handles, decorated with red painted panels of crosshatching, repaired, 8¾in. (22.2cm.) high; another similar, smaller, with false spout, 4¼in. (10.7cm.) high; another red crosshatched flask with spherical body and single handle, 7¼in. (18.5cm.) high; two plain orange pottery juglets, 6 3/8in. (16cm.) high max., all 1st millennium B.C. (7)
