Each with a recumbEnt lion on a brocatello di Spagna and white marble plinth with rectangular cornice above panelled sides centred by a drapery-hung mask, the ends mounted with a flowerhead, on a stepped base, the lions previously with further ornament to one paw and presumably refinished in Italy in the late 18th Century when they were placed on their pedestals, re-threaded
