A PAIR OF NORTH ITALIAN GILTWOOD JARDINIERES
Late 18th Century
Each with later grey oval verde antico marble top concealing a metal well, the frieze with a gadrooned rim above a fluted band and further stiff-leaf band, the turned tapering fluted legs with waisted foliate necks headed by flowerhead and joined by an arched X-shaped stretcher with central fluted urn-finial hung with floral garlands, and terminating in a flowerhead panelled block with toupie feet, one marble with restored break, restorations, variations in scale and carving
