A creamware 'Fiddler' Toby-jug
Circa 1770
Modelled by the same hand as the preceding, his hat with brown and yellow scalloped edge, his brown hair incised and tied en queue with a white rosette, in a washed brown frock-coat with incised side-pleats, applied buttons, yellow frogging and collar, his washed blue waistcoat opening to reveal a white shirt, seated playing his fiddle beside a baluster jug on a shaped base (handle and bow lacking, slight chips to edge of hat, left cuff and head of instrument)
