A creamware 'Bargeman' Toby-jug
Circa 1790
Modelled standing with a flask and glass, in brown hat, grey wig, streaked grey jacket, blue waistcoat and pantaloons and brown shoes, an anchor between his feet, before a mound moulded with masks and with swags of foliage suspended from ram's masks at the corners (handle and flask restored replacements, restoration to right wrist, back of hat and base, extended crack to base)
