Circa 1800
Of conventional type with a globular jug of frothing ale, the first of buff colour with streaked brown jacket, blue waistcoat and spotted stockings, a pipe at his right side (left foot restored, slight crack to face and flaking to hand); the second with sponged blue hat and frock-coat and green breeches, on a sponged brown base, a pipe between his feet (extensive restoration to hat and stem of pipe, slight flaking to jug)
