Inverted-bell shaped and on spreading circular foot with harp-shaped scroll handles and moulded mid-rib, the detachable domed cover with baluster finial, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms, the cover with a crest, each beneath an Earl's coronet, marked on body and cover

The arms are those of Kingston impaling Caulfield for Edward, 1st Earl of Kingston (1726-1797) and his wife Jane (d.1784), daughter of Thomas Caulfield Esq., of Donamon, Co. Roscommon, whom he married in 1752. (2)
