A SOVIET PORCELAIN PROPAGANDA PLATE

WITH UNDERGLAZE MARK OF THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, PERIOD OF NICHOLAS II AND LATER BLUE OVERGLAZE STATE PORCELAIN FACTORY MARK, DATED 1921

Painted with the interlaced Cyrillic initials 'RSFSR' after a design by Sergei Chekhonin, with the letter 'R' as a garland of flowers, the letter 'S' as a red sickle and the letter 'f' in gold edged with leaves, within black, yellow and green borders, marked on the reverse
