cover 1845 (19 Dec.) entire from Rotterdam to Samagang "pr overland mail via Suez and Singapore" bearing despatch c.d.s. and "P.P." in blue overstruck by French transit c.d.s., one flap bears a good strike of the rare "SINGAPORE/SHIP LETTER/1846Feb 7/Bearing" whilst the front displays a very fine Land Mail label "Aangebragt per Land-Mail./Te betalen port f koper./BATAVIA," suitably endorsed; the cover with a few minor faults which do not detract.
