Lot Essay

The Colt 'New Service' revolver possessed the largest frame size of all Colt's swing-out double-action revolvers. This particular model became a highly-prized military sidearm, particularly because of its rugged design and hard-hitting calibres. Revolver No. 67607 was built in 1914 as is evidenced by its British calibre. It remains in generally very good condition
