1950 JAGUAR XK140 ROADSTER
A SCRATCH-BUILT CHILD'S ELECTRIC CAR

This beautifully proportioned scratch-built model was constructed in 1995. It is built to half scale of the XK140 and features outstanding attention to detail, including a steel box section chassis, clothed by a steel and aluminium body. It is finished in red with black seats (and red piping) and is powered by a 24v electric motor with variable forward and reverse speeds, controlled by the accelerator pedal. The car is fitted with wire wheels, locked into place with wheel spinners, pneumatic 350 x 10 tyres, working lights and, of course, opening doors, bonnet and boot. The technical details are equally impressive with rack and pinion steering, independent front suspension, hand and foot brakes and a removable steering wheel. All the brightwork is chrome plated and, indeed, it is difficult to distinguish this model from the famous full-size versions when comparing photographs.

Many hours of meticulous preparation and work were spent to build this superb child's car and we recommend close inspection.

An unmissable opportunity for all young and discerning enthusiasts!
